Cancer, Positive Attitudes, Affirmations & Actions to Help Survive YOUR Cancer Experience
Atlanta, GA, July 24, 2005: Cancer is a battle that requires all the tools of heaven and earth to fight. These positive techniques are alternative medicine and atlernative healing for the mind.Beginning your healing journey:
1. Separate YOUR identity from the Cancer's identity.
2. You are a person, who is having a Cancer "experience."
3. Recognize that an "experience" comes and goes!
4. Your Cancer âœexperienceâ is your life's reset button! Learn from it.
5. Cancer may be in your physical body, however, it is NOT in your Soul or spiritual body!!!Cancer is a diagnosis. Although it affects your life, it is NOT necessarily a life sentence. Rather than fearfullyaccepting your diagnosis, do research! Knowledge is empowering.Health Affirmations: A spiritual healing is different from a physical healing!! Your goal is integration and the balance of both to create allover well being and health.
Talk to your cells, your blood, your organs, your bones, etc, they are live entities!!!!! You are the commander of YOUR body! Take charge and command your cells to be healthy. You do not have to accept and enable what's happening to them. You may command the cells in your body that are here to serve your Soul!Cancel, Cancel, Cancel, Next, Positive!: Remember thoughts have ripple effects. To stop every negative thought and action in your environment whether you think it, say it, or are in the field of someone else who says or does something negative.POSITIVE PEOPLE ONLY!!! YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
You can erode all of the positive energy that you have generated by being in negative circumstances. Do not repeat negative thoughts and actions or be in the presence of negative energies (ie âœdownerâ individuals, no matter where, caregivers, friends, stores, phone calls, emails etc).NEVER EVER OWN YOUR DISORDER & make it a part of your being!Anger: at your disease circumstances lowers the energy that you use to heal yourself. Positive energy creates more healing energy.Feeling Vulnerable:
You are vulnerable, so admit it. The key to your success is to accept your vulnerability. By accepting your vulnerability you are dealing with reality, and can better understand how to protect and take care of yourself. Accepting your vulnerability is a positive action. It allows you to accurately assess your position's strengths and weaknesses. Then you can plan a more accurate course of action based on fact, probabilities, and hope. Being in denial is a false sense of security. Denial leads to enabling poor or harmful choices and decisions that could create a worse scenario.Being Overwhelmed:
Is natural! The key to your battle is to limit the time that you allow yourself to be overwhelmed. Set aside a few hours or no more than 3 days to get quiet with yourself to regroup mentally. Shut out all "well wishers" and even family if necessary for a brief time. Even a general needs time alone to "grasp" the situation at hand, to plan strategies, and to announce to the world the decisions he made. When you just can't handle ONE >>>>MORE>>>THING! and you just don't have the stamina for ONE>>>MORE">>>THING>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> cry, rest, yell, read, whatever it takes, and sleep!
Do something wonderful for yourself, and pray like crazy. Those actions will get you through the overwhelming time period until you CAN go forward. Don't feel guilty if you don't maintain a positive attitude all the time, especially when you arenâ™t feeling good, or have just been given some new diagnostic information. It doesn't matter how strong, resilient or good you are at coping with and handling what you are dealt, there will be times that are "downers', and that you are feel mentally distressed. It is imperative that you take, and make, time to handle and mentally and emotionally process all that you have been dealt.
Do not be ashamed to feel overwhelmed. Using this time wisely will allow you to gain more understanding, strength, and direction about your strategies for your life!Venting:
"I'm SO tired of fighting." Isn't that the truth! Anyone who hasn't been there will not understand.
When all the actions, affirmations and attitudes and every "fighting" tool is just too much, take a break, and give yourself a break! You can verbally vent or cry, till it's all out!Crying is PERFECTLY OK! It's normal, and cleansing. It's an energetic releasing. It's clearing out the old grieving energy, to make way for the new positive healing energy. Release the pain, the fear, your frustration. Then you'll be refreshed to go forward with something positive. :)Be Gentle with Yourself:
It is imperative that you also be gentle with yourself, and require others to do so.
Every so often, announce and have a "Gentle Day." This day should be a mental, emotional, spiritual and physical "spa" day for the weary warrior in you.
You've earned it!!! You deserve it!!
Even the strongest warriors need a foot massage, soft words, and hugs! Mark your "Gentle Day" on your calendar. PLAN wonderful, soothing, pamper yourself events.
Balance, is as important as winning a battle!
SO you "expanded" that strict diet for 5 minutesâ¦â¦â¦. the joy you had with the sugar free ice cream, and the positive energizing feeling it gave youâ¦â¦ matters!!!!! Don't be so hard on yourself.
Don't get so caught up in surviving, that you forget to live!
Don't forget to enjoy the fact that you ARE alive!Know as much or MORE than your Health Care provider so you can ask questions that YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON!!!And last but NOT least,Perspective: There is ALWAYS someone who is worse off than youâ¦â¦â¦â¦.and although you may not be happy with your current situation, they would be GLAD to trade place with you and your situation!

Console Gaming vs. Computer Gaming
It?s an age-old question that will only get more and more intense in the coming year as the Xbox 360 is in full swing and the PS3 and Revolution release. Which is better? What system is right for me? Well, I would suggest both, but if you have to choose one or the other then you have to consider a few things.Price is definitely a big issue. I mean, when?s the last time you didn?t even bat an eye when are buying something 500 bucks or more? The bottom line: Computer gaming is more expensive. Why? Because computers aren?t made just for games. They are calculators, word processors, Internet navigators, music players, movie watchers, and photo editors. They are much more than a gaming machine. Consoles, on the other hand, generally aren?t. It?s only recently that consoles have gone online starting with the Dreamcast and I haven?t seen anyone printing off spreadsheets or book reports from one yet. Consoles are purely for gaming and run between 100-500 bucks. PCs on the other hand are much more than a gaming machine and run between 1,500-3,000 dollars and need to be upgraded every now and again to play the newest and greatest games.Genre is an issue. If you are a Real Time Strategy fan and only have a console, I mourn for you. And if you are a platformer fan, then computer gaming will be a sad mistake. Genre makes a big deal because of the controller vs. keyboard/mouse issue. Different games play much better on the different configurations. Computer gaming is best for Real Time Strategy (RTS) games, First Person Shooters (FPS), Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORG), Flight Simulation games, and Point and Click Adventure games. The consoles on the other hand are better for Fighting games, Action/Adventure games, Platformers, Role Playing Games (RPG), and Sports games.Tech savvy can possibly be an issue. Computers are a little more unstable than consoles. I mean, when?s the last time you saw a Playstation lock up or get a blue screen of death? Never, right? The same thing comes in here. Some computer games might be a little stubborn to set up the way your computer likes it or your computer might not meet the system requirements. Consoles, on the other hand, don?t have that problem. The people designing the games have to fit the requirements of the console so that you don?t have a problem. If you have a basic knowledge of computers, you?ll be fine. If you don?t, then a console might be better for you.So as I?ve explained, if you want more than a gaming system for school and work or you just like gaming genres like RTS and MMORG games, I would go with a PC. If you love platformers, Action/Adventure, or Sports games or your wallet is a tad on the empty side, I?d go with a console. It won?t be able to surf the Internet or help you with anything else, but it?ll play some great games. If you want a console by the end of this article, then you have 3 options at the moment. You could buy a Gamecube if you like innovation, buy a Xbox if you like the best graphics and FPS games, or buy a PS2 if you want a huge library of games or love fighting games, Action/Adventure games, platformers, and RPG games. You also have another option. You could wait until the Xbox 360 comes out this month and get that or wait until the Nintendo Revolution and PS3 come out next year.If you want advise on gaming computers and computer gaming, then www.gaming-computers-authority.com is a great resource for all your questions and even has a tutorial on building your own computer. Consolidate Debt to you Credit Cards
Credit card companies are constantly looking for ways to get more customers. One way they do this is by offering extremely low interest rates for people who want to move a large balance to the cards. For many people this looks attractive because it is an easy way to get a debt consolidation loan with virtually no fees. While this isn't necessarily a bad strategy, you need to make sure you read the fine print and have a solid plan for what to do once the introductory period is over. Some credit companies will offer you 0% interest for a year, but after the year the rate jumps to 20%. If you don't understand all of the little details of the loan, you may find yourself worse off than before. Using plastic credit in this way can be a good thing if it helps you get out of debt. However, if the additional credit becomes a temptation and causes you to go deeper into debt than before the low interest loan can do more harm than good.If you are looking at using a credit card for this, make sure you understand exactly what the terms are. Also make sure you keep a copy of the terms so you have them to backup any dispute you may have. In addition you need to have a plan for what to do if you are unable to pay off the balance by the time the rate goes back up. For example you might want to take out a home equity loan on your house to pay off the balance. Some people may even have the cash available, but would rather earn interest on their money instead of pay off the debt. For those people they can just pay off the balance from their savings (or look for another great credit card deal). The problem with this type of strategy is the fact that it is very easy to spend money, but difficult to control it. For many people just having a larger line of credit available will be too much of a temptation. If you are able to discipline your spending however, these credit card deals can work to your advantage. The Debt Consolidation blog offers insights into managing and reducing your debt.
